TERMS AND CONDITIONS
TICKET POLICIES
Every person must hold a valid ticket for Hospice Niagara’s TASTE event to be permitted to attend the event due to fire code and insurance policies. This is an age 19+ event and ticketholders must be prepared to show valid photo identification.
All ticketholders voluntarily assume all risk and danger of personal injury, loss, or damage to property arising from or related in any way to their attendance at Hospice Niagara’s TASTE event, whether occurring prior to, during, or after the event, and release Hospice Niagara from all liability.
Ticket-holder agrees that admission to the venue is permitted conditional on their compliance with all applicable laws and venue regulations. Any violation shall entitle management to refuse admission and/or expel the ticket-holder without refund or compensation.
Tickets are sold exclusively by Hospice Niagara through TicketScene.ca. Any tickets purchased through unauthorized third-party sellers will be deemed invalid and will not be accepted.
The resale of tickets is strictly prohibited.
All sales are final. No refunds will be provided under any circumstances.
Tickets purchased through TicketScene.ca are considered transferable, as admission is based on barcode scanning rather than the name on the ticket. Hospice Niagara is not responsible for tickets that are transferred, duplicated, or resold through unauthorized channels.
Hospice Niagara reserves the right to not replace or accept any ticket that has been lost, stolen, forgotten, damaged, forged, unreadable, or incomplete.
EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
In consideration of my registration and permitting me to participate in this event, I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows:
(A) I WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE from any and all liability, including but not limited to liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me, including my travel to and from this activity, THE FOLLOWING ENTITIES OR PERSONS: Hospice Niagara and/or their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents, and the activity holders, sponsors, and volunteers;
(B) INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS, AND PROMISE NOT TO SUE the entities or persons mentioned in (A) from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation in this activity, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
I acknowledge that Hospice Niagara and their directors, officers, volunteers, representatives, agents, and employees are not responsible for the errors, omissions, acts, or failures of any party or entity conducting a specific activity on their behalf.
SAFETY POLICIES
Hospice Niagara supports our guests’ choice to continue the personal practices that make them feel comfortable and encourages the community to continue following public health guidance:
· Get vaccinated for COVID-19, including receiving booster shots
· Stay home if you are sick
· Wash or sanitize your hands frequently
We do not require proof of vaccination to enter the event.
We require all ticketholders to self-screen for symptoms of COVID-19 before attending the event. Entry may not be granted if ticketholders are visibly symptomatic, at the sole discretion of Hospice Niagara. Ticketholders who are positive or symptomatic will not be refunded; however, tickets may be transferred.
By entering the venue, you and your party voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. Venue, organizers, and sponsors disclaim any and all liability related thereto. By placing this order, you accept these terms and conditions.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people gather. Hospice Niagara abides by all Public Health guidelines and has implemented reasonable measures to protect all individuals at the event. However, COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death.
By attending Hospice Niagara’s TASTE event, you assume all risks, hazards, and dangers related to contracting COVID-19 or any other communicable disease, whether occurring before, during, or after the event.
In efforts to keep safe and best serve our guests, artists, staff, volunteers, and partners, policies and procedures may be updated as required.
CANNABIS POLICY
The consumption of cannabis, including smoking, vaping, or any other method, is strictly prohibited at the event.
This is a smoke-free environment. Failure to comply may result in refusal of entry or removal from the event without refund.
CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL – MUST BE AGE 19+ TO BE PERMITTED ENTRY TO THE EVENT
All ticketholders must be nineteen (19) years of age or older and understand that they may consume alcohol at their own discretion and risk.
Any alcohol consumed outside of the event area is strictly prohibited.
Ticketholders must present valid government-issued photo identification prior to entry.
Hospice Niagara reserves the right to refuse service or remove any participant who becomes intoxicated, behaves inappropriately, or poses a risk to themselves or others. Removal will be without refund or liability.
All ticketholders assume all risks associated with alcohol consumption, including illness or injury, and agree to hold Hospice Niagara harmless.
Ticketholders are solely responsible for arranging safe transportation, including a designated driver.
RELEASE OF CLAIMS
Ticketholder hereby releases Hospice Niagara from any and all liability or claims arising from participation in the event, including but not limited to injury, illness, food-related issues, inebriation, theft, property damage, transportation, weather conditions, or choking.
Participant, on behalf of themselves and their successors, fully and unconditionally releases Hospice Niagara and all affiliated parties from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from participation.
Ticketholder acknowledges that Hospice Niagara is not liable for any injury resulting from their own conduct or behavior.
MEDICAL EXPENSES AND CONSENT TO MEDICAL TREATMENT
Ticketholder accepts full financial responsibility for any medical expenses arising from participation in the event and releases Hospice Niagara from any related claims.
Ticketholder authorizes Hospice Niagara to provide medical treatment in the event of an emergency and releases Hospice Niagara from any liability related to such treatment.
Nothing in this section creates an obligation for Hospice Niagara to provide medical care.
PRIVACY POLICIES
I understand that while participating in this event, I may be photographed or recorded. I agree to allow my image, video, or likeness to be used for promotional or other legitimate purposes by Hospice Niagara and its partners.
Hospice Niagara is committed to protecting your privacy. We do not trade, rent, or sell the personal information of our supporters.
